Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Nudg (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

What Nudg does

You tell Nudg what to watch in plain language, and we check the relevant source on a schedule and notify you when your condition appears to be met. Nudg is an awareness and convenience tool — a best-effort assistant, not a guarantee.

No guarantee of accuracy or timeliness

Nudg relies on third-party data sources and automated checks that can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. We can’t guarantee that every alert fires, fires on time, or is accurate, and we may miss changes between checks.

Do not rely on Nudg for emergencies or safety-critical decisions. Alerts about weather, hazards, prices, markets, or any other topic are informational only and are not professional, financial, investment, legal, or safety advice. Always verify important information with the official source before acting.

Your account

You sign in with a magic link sent to your email, so keeping your email account secure is your responsibility. You’re responsible for the activity under your account and for the watches you create. You must be at least 16 years old to use Nudg.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to break the law or infringe others’ rights.
• Watch pages in a way that violates a site’s terms, or use Nudg to scrape, overload, or attack any system.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Resell or abuse the Service or its underlying data sources.

Subscriptions and billing

Nudg offers a free plan and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through our third-party payment processor on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal in Settings; your plan stays active through the end of the current period.

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices or plan features, and we’ll give notice of material changes; continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

Affiliate links

Some links on the site and in our emails are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, Nudg may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This never affects which results or sources we show you.

Third-party sites and content

Nudg points you to third-party sites and shows information drawn from third-party sources. We don’t control and aren’t responsible for those sites, their content, prices, availability, or practices. Your dealings with them are between you and them.

Intellectual property

Nudg and its branding, design, and software are owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Service. The watches you create and the content you provide remain yours.

Termination

You can stop using Nudg and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or to protect the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nudg will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from missed, delayed, or inaccurate alerts or from reliance on the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Nudg is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
